Welcome to Kent Procedures Online (KPON)
Kent Procedures Online (KPON) contains policies, procedures and guidance for Kent County Council’s children’s workforce. Disclaimer: The national guidelines are generic policies and procedures provided by tri.x.
Find what you need under the three main headings:
- National guidelines: understand the law and statutory guidance from a national perspective with these generic guides;
- Kent guidelines: find practice guidance, policies and resources specific to Kent;
- Kent and Medway Safeguarding: find essential information about safeguarding procedures and practice (e.g. section 47) for all agencies in the partnership procedures manual.
Search tips:
- Check spelling – the search cannot look for similar words
- Try different terminology (for example, ‘respite care’ may be known as ‘short breaks’ or ‘family time’ may be called ‘contact’)
- Keep it simple – the search cannot look for words out of order, so shorter phrases will work better
- Avoid symbols like hyphens and apostrophes
